Y'all every noticed that it's the people with more money than they can spend in
many lifetimes saying "money can't buy happiness"? The very instructive irony though, is they still spend a significant amount of their time in the pursuit of even more money.
In a recent article on the world renowned Economist Magazine's website [
link] it notes a study that showed "
money can buy you happiness—but only fleetingly, at others’ expense".
So it would seem, as a fellow Blogger [http://thevanillanetwork.blogspot.com/] likes to say, the monetary system is designed to keep some people down.
The doctrine of those who have money, is that those who don't, don't need it. All I will say is, "the obsessive love of money can only lead to evil".
